You were applying pressure on the enemy team by running around the map, and I believe it is also an effective tactic. And btw, if you're sitting at D1, you're effectively an ancient player. The performance between a D1 and A7 is negligible. A skilled A7 will play at a Divine level and will rise in rank, while some D1s clearly got carried there and play at an Ancient level and just sit at the D1 rank forever jacking themselves off over it.
