(x-1)k -> [(x-1)k + y] is the biggest cancer you'll ever see on dota, as i need them to win because i can't compensate for my teammates lack of skill so i notice how bad they are.
x is the bracket just above you, y can be any positive 3 digit number
try using the formula yourself, you'll see it works like a charm.

Even though my main acc is 5k, i can't win on my other 3k acc.
Does mid 3k have proper lanes or the same old 2k setup with farming dual lanes in both sidelanes (maybe 1 sup at best but he'll also farm) fighting it out over every last hit resulting in three heroes on each team getting 20 last hits in 10 min.
Mid 3 k u slowly start to see some semblance of ppl understanding lane matchups better so u start seeing trilanes or more roaming and usually a solo offlaner

So I quitted dota 2 for a year and returned to play a month ago, I started with few normal games to warm up and get used to the meta. I was 3.4k back then. I've made my way to 4k in a month after learning a lot from my mistakes and abusing the common mistakes 3k players always do. Not spamming a particular hero but spamming a particular role (roaming)
because 3ks don't realize the risk of having their mid die twice in 5 mins which is what I've been doing in all my games. they don't realize the risk of having their offlaner getting xp denied and zoned out and eventually being 3 levels less than my safelane in 10-15m. they don't look at the minimap.. etc.
Heroes who helped me in my road: roamming kunkka, ogre and NS. troll/sven safelane
I'll take a break to focus on my college and will return for my 5k goal after the next big update.
