ever heard of guilty crown ?
i quit after ep 12 when i understood the anime will stay shit until the end
it was litteraly so bad, how can it be marked 8/10 average on myanimalist, people have no tastes
I read the original in chinese, cant say i really like the anime
Many little things dont translate well to english either
I rather rewatch guilty crown 1000 times than watching the anime. The novel isnt as bad as the anime but its still utter dogshit. Chinese novel release some really good novel like release that witch or awe and i dont even know how they want to make this shitty novel to anime while every other choice is better
Well it panders to both the wuxia crowd (wuxia influence is pretty obvious in his writing) and the gaming crowd, so its not too surprising to see why its so popular
I've just started the novel. I don't mind. It's great for light reading. It's not a literary masterpiece or anything, but it does cater well enough to the wonder-eyed audience it targets. As always with adaptations, novels never adapt well to visual art forms as a rule. But I can't well recommend anyone a novel from the get go. Might as well ease in to the world with stylish anime.
Well dont worry you will drop it sooner or later coz everything is just a repeated scene with a bit modification

And......it's Chinese! It's about an-erstwhile Dendi-like-legend forced to retire in the new era of commercial e-sports, for a young hotshot with more market appeal. Lad's termination contract states he must take a year long break from the MMO. The anime picks up from when he returns and starts playing under a new name and begins his career anew. Sounds familiar to our very own dota? It's a proper watch. Have at it!
