There's a delay you can set so you cant missclick on the minimap

Pretty much everyone has it on the left except for the LoL players. I watched tyler1 when he streamed dota shortly a few months ago and saw his map was on the right it made the whole screen look so weird
I few of my league playing friends play with their map on the right on their short stint with dotes. It is pretty effective retreat-wise especially if your homebase happens to be in lower left, but it's pretty awkward fotr the rest of us whos played the game left-mapped eversince

Hi all dota experts,
When I am running away from enemy (to radiant base) sometimes i click on the map which is rendered on the left side and go back to enemy and of course straight to my death...so I was just wondering if people usually choose to render map on left or right?
