From Archon 5 to Legend 1? I remember when I went from Archon 3 to Legend 5 only in party games, was confused too. My Pre-badge MMR was 4005 btw. There was an update to have a more....accurate badge depending on your skill. I forgot the specifics and when it happened tho.

I took a break from dota, won my first ranked game went from
archon 5 to legend 1 instantly
after that i played 8 ranked games, won 6 lost 2.
this week i first lost 2 matches, then won 2 and now i got legend 2.
That makes no sense? Im the same mmr as i was 4 ranked games ago.
possibilty 1 (very unlikely)
-in the 2 matches lost, i got -22 or so and in the 2 matches i won i got +27, gaining 10mmr which maybe was jaut enough to push me to legend 2
possibility 2 (just dumb)
- it doesnt even account lost games, it just counts how many you win
any ideas? i have no clue
