Frostivus Arrives, New Cosmetics
Frostivus is here and it brings us a variety of mini-games with it! The new Frostivus event randomly picks 10 mini-games for players to compete in. In addition, Valve has also added a Winter themed Frostivus treasure chest with cosmetic sets for a variety of heroes, most notably Puck, Wraith King and Batrider, who are the rare drops for this treasure.

Team Empire claim ROG Masters title
CIS powerhouse 
Team Empire ESL has announced the eight invited teams for their first Minor of this Pro Circuit Season. Virtus.pro, Team Liquid, Newbee, Mineski, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, Team Secret and Vici Gaming have been directly invites to Malaysia. Seven more teams will be determined over the course of several regional qualifiers, with two spots dedicated to the Chinese region. There will be a ninth invite, though there are no details surrounding the invite. The qualifiers will have two stages, with more established teams directly invited to the second stage.

OG win MDL Macau
Four time Major champions 
OG have finally received their first Qualifier Points. The European squad put on a strong performance at MDL Macau, placing first in the group stage and not dropping a single game during the playoffs. This was only the second LAN tournament OG participated this season, with a 5th/6th place finish at DotaPit.

Frostivus should have been done as a compendium for ESL with quests and what not. The way it is feels like nothing more than paying for frosty looking cosmetics. I.e., money grab.
