Happy Weekend!
Newbee defeated Team Liquid 3-2 at the ESL One Genting tournament for Malaysia’s first Minor. Both teams sailed through their brackets undefeated in the playoffs, before their close grand finals series. Off the backs of excellent support duo play, and the return of the position 4 Naga, this was Newbee’s first series defeat over Team Liquid in 4 years. For the tournament win, they took home $160,000 and 200 Pro Circuit points. They’ve further solidified their position on our Pro Circuit charts at 3rd place. Team Liquid, with their consistent performance, are resting at 2nd place on the Pro Circuit, in spite of having yet to win a Major tournament.
We want to try taking a different approach to how gameplay patches are released. Instead of big patches a couple of times a year, we'll be releasing small patches every 2 weeks on Thursdays. We'll be trying this out for about six months and then reevaluating.

In a rare tweet by IceFrog himself, he announced that Valve will be taking a new approach in how they release patches. The community will see updates every 2 weeks rather than the usual cycle of large patches. Though the meta continues to change even within a patch, the quicker releases will be a refreshing turn from the usual anticipation after major tournaments.
The announcements kicked off with VP trading one of their longest veterans, Lil, to Na’Vi for RodjER. And while the details behind the trade are still unraveling, it appears that the community won’t receive both sides of the story between VP and Lil, since Lil is muzzled from speaking about his former team. The trade alone transfers Lil’s 900 points to Na’Vi, launching his new team to 5th place on the Pro Circuit rankings. Then, just yesterday, Na’Vi announces that Sonneiko has left the team. Teams will have a little more than one day before Phase 2 of roster locks end.
`...........
According to rumors, Sonneiko was already falling out of favor with the other Na'Vi guys because he wouldn't train with them, on top of average performances in official games. I think what tipped him to leave was the roster swap of Lil for Rodjer. Lil and Sonneiko had some weird spat a year ago.
Personally, I hope Na'Vi's new 5th is LeBronDota, that guy is good, he played well for them when he was a standin for Sonneiko during GESC Jakarta quals
the spring cleaning is def. a well done update
I dont like broken tower :(
Sadly DARTH ur opinion dont matter noob
What a lovely community
Why would VP trade LiL. Makes zero sense. Dude is a legit playmaker. Rodjer is good don’t get me wrong. But I don’t see him being so much better than LiL that’s its worth trading him.
Dear DOTABUFF,
