Any time Grimorum is mentioned the same envious wannabes trolls feel they must vent their frustration that they cannot compare to his skill and popularity. i looked through a few of his matches, and while he indeed still plays with people who have a lot of games on the other team, there's always someone on the other team who is close on played games or even anonymous and bad at this game

I'm sorry were tricked by the forum trolls. Grimorum does not use smurf accounts. And even if he did, they don't help you to play more than a game or two against weak players. You would have to make a new account every 5 games at least to make it do anything.
What really happens if you make a new account as a Very High player is that in about 5 games you are rated Very High again from starting in Normal.
Smurfing is a tactic that worked very well in dota 1 and does almost nothing in dota 2.

Everyone one of those scenes were from my first account (Diamond level, 99th percentile, 2250 DBR). KDA and win rate is low on my first account because I always fool around with refresher orb and do not care about counter picks.
I have unbelievable win rate and kda with invoker on this permanent account because I was super tryhard for 102 games with invoker. However, I found it supremely stressful like work so I gave up. Regarding alt accts, it was experimental. I don't use other accts anymore.

Besides all that I want to make it very clear to new players who do not understand the matching system Valve has. It does not work anything like dota 1. You can't have a "smurf" account that lets the best players stomp on newbies. Its just not possible anymore. In just a few games you will already be playing tough opponents if you are really that good.

exactly how i found out about him wanted to learn what i think is the hardest hero in dota invoker searched on youtube found his videos and have been better off ever since he even decided to add me a nobody from new zealand. im still a pretty trash invoker but its people like him who will move the community forward into better understandings of heros
Kda of more than 10? Even godly invoker players like 430,iceiceice dont have that.Plus many of his games are kda of like 20. Very sure the opponent ain't good

Watched Gargoyles tv show around 10 years old and loved the way grimorum sounds,grimorum is a book of spells!
4º How did you start at dota? first impressions and stuff?
My friend recommended dota to me,I remember dota in reign of chaos, back then, a bot would ask game related questions, fail to answer, and you get kicked out lol
i remember my favorite hero was lich summon 15 skellies and block ramp then charge with 4 creep waves
5º Do you remember your first hero?
I think it was morph, I liked his clone ability, if i remember correctly, that clone was not an ultimate, he can clone himself
6º Why invoker? how was your reaction about a hero with so many skills?
I had actually quit dota after a year, I immediately played dota again when I found out about invoker,that hero is so refreshing and have so many combos,I get an adrenaline rush late game with invoker
7º how did you deal with the transition of dota 1 to dota 2?
It was terrible! Invoker was not released yet and I could not differentiate which hero is who,I kept mistaking lich with someone else, after couple of weeks, I think it is much better
8º What do you think about macros? do you think is somewhat of a disrespect?
I disapprove the use of macros,it takes the fun out of the game and is cheating
9º What is your preferred build?
currently, exort is almost mandatory. invoker really needs that extra dps for last hits because ranged heroes suffer tremendously from denies,
i only rush quas if I know for sure I can destroy middle, but bottle/crow completely counters quas lane invoker,
so currently, 4-1-4 is preferred in 95% of games. Basicly this is the 'universal build'.
10º whats your favorite combos?
favorite and efficient is a little different,but you ask me for favorite, I would say, nado/meteor/blast/snap/wall/refresh/snap/wall/meteor/blast/nado/SS/alacrity
11º And the EUL's + Sunstrike + Meteor + Blast combo, do you think you were the first doing it?
I believe so,When SS received a huge buff, that was the first thing came to my mind.I practiced it the first day SS was buffed,
I remember seeing someone calling it "grimorum's combo" in someone's invoker guide

I have watched maybe 8 invokers in competitive scene, Among Ferrari, Dendi, Iceiceice, tofu, bu....., and several I forgot their names
I'd say Ferrari would be my choice.
15º What about invoker nerf? hes getting more and more nerfed, whats your opinion about it?
Hate it so much. According to Dota Academy, invoker was only picked 8 times and banned once in the last 567 games,
invoker requires too much resources and is too frail early game.
16º What about the invoker raging fury 5? when it will comes out?
Helical has been working on it since April. This one is the best eye candy of the series, I really hope it surpasses part 3 with a million views.
I believe late June or July.
17º Do you think about doing livestreams?
my computer is too old to handle that stuff, i play on 800/600 resolution, with everything turned off, and render settings at 50%,
even with that super low settings, i might have bad lags whenever there are too many things going on
18º do you have any hobbies besides dota?
not since my school started. I failed high school horribly, I cannot let myself fail again in college

Note: new update makes quas/wex much more viable. Invoker is better add harassing since bottle/crow nerf. Moreover, tornado received damage buff. Buff on ghost walk may allow invoker to scout in daytime
