Player cards, like sports cards? Does it pro players along with their signature hero on a card?

I've melted them into my compedium, but I don't see any difference atm.

If you collect a team's all player's cards, you get a reward. At least says so the compendium.

I think its going to be like the pendants, giving you item drops when a player you have does something.

there should be some mythical cards. the achievements said so. maybe there will be a foil card with a glittering mustache
