    Just thought I'd be nice to have a little circle-jerk about how League is nothing but an easier DotA.

    I personally think it's a game scrubs play to feel like they're MOBA elitists.

      It's more accessible for new players and it can be quite fun to play. It still looks awful after all these years and the engine is atrocious.

              No denies + no tps + amalgamation of action anime style characters with kindergarten show characters + severe lack of active items + bushes which somehow make you invisible = very limited strategies = limited fun

              That's what I noticed from watching some friends playing it.

                    Skill shot? Really? I've played and it's not really skill shot at all. 99% of the time(not exaggerating) the 'skill' shot will hit. More like a burden to players.

                    Graphics are cartoony.
                    Heroes look constipated.

                    I only play LoL if I don't have time.

                          ^ ur wrong. it's not no TPS, it's FREE TPs.

                          Here's what's wrong. Remember when Gankplant had deny feature for ally boost? Sort of like lich's spell? well it was too OP so they changed it.

                          Here's what I think is wrong with the current meta.

                          1) Can't deviate from hero builds. Hero X can only build item A or item B. If he get's HP such as Warmog's Armor. He suxxxor etc...

                          2) OP heroes some of them comparable to say PL, Earth Spirit, ET, slark, troll etc... in terms of imbalances.

                          3) NO real 2v2/3v3 lane action. If you watch most tournaments it's 4v3, 4v2, 3v1 etc... They just use greater of numbers not indiviudual lane action like dota 2. In dota 2 you can still enjoy 2 guys surviving a tri-lane. . You will never see 2 guys surviving a 3 or 4 man gank like Xhost in TI3 in LoL. Those LoL games, the jungler ganks uncontested once he snowballs. Usually followed by the missing mid. Just 4-6 kills like that and the game is basically done. LoL doesn't really ALLOW for 4 protect 1 or solo CARRY to out-farm enemy team for 5v1 action. Hence 4 players will just automatically peel if there's 5, unless they have a HUGE lead. You will see late game strat as... team 1 moves in... team 2 moves back. One guy left alone.. Team 1 moves in... sees team 2.. they peel back... LoL...

                          4) Junglers are too OP. Sure they get help to get early red buff/blue buff. But man, if you play against some decent junglers, they can keep up with EXP of solo lane. That's just ridiculous. That's like lycan before patch or the current Meepo. Unlike Dota 2 with the right runes they can solo ANY neutrals they desire and aren't bogged down by low level/skill like engima or doom. Which takes a good 7-8 mintues to really FARM up. Engima can't really farm up til level 3 idolons and Doom without satyr's regen or level 3 devour/scoured earth. Keep in mind the jungler either has infinite mana from blue buff or basically a skadi while jungling with red buff.

                          5) Late game DPS just makes the game even faster. One bad team wipe and the throne is in contention. Around 30 mintues in, 1 team wipe could mean they taking 10 seconds on middle rax and 30 seconds on throne. It's just way too fast and about equal to say those 90 minute dota game with multiple 6 slotted item heroes.

                          6) No gold loss from death. So no real ways to punish junglers. He's not gonna get poorer and poorer as he gets ganked in the jungle constantly except it will just delay him. Just Imagine in Dota 2 if it had LoL's no gold loss on death. You would see those amazing SUCIDAL lycan necrobooks builds again that you see in pubs. leshrac, pugna, lycan, furion & tinker would be the ultmate push strat. 0 gold loss so can can push 24/7, with base constantly pushed the enemy team wil just have to defend for the remainder of the game, lol.

                          7) Double blink/leap hero combo. With the blink ability, "FLASH". Most players have 2 or 3 juking/kiting abilities. Imagine trying to kill an Antimage or QoP with blink dagger & force staff? It's so annoying, for heroes with say only 1 or 0 leap ability and didn't skill summoner spell, "FLASH". Unless you have a stun heavy lineup there is no way to contend to 2-3 enemy heroes with blink & flash ability.

                          8) No real point in warding in LoL. Why u might ask? They only last only 3 minutes. If you play against 5 stack there is bound to be an anti-warder. They will ping ur wards so fast don't even bother buying. They can buy that vision ward to deward or buy that 'truesight' potion called "Oracle's Elixir", that gives basically a gem in potions for a hero. There's also items that can give you ward equivalent so supports would rather get those than actually buying wards. Even if you ward it's not stopping the enemy team from 3-4 man ganks, cuz rarely do allies get that allied structure TP. So just imagine the prefect team with mid ganking in combination with the jungler sandwiching every lane and the worst ally team that doesn't react to enemy pushes.

                          That basically describes my LoL experience. I would love to say skill shot takes more skills. blah blah blah, but when you die in 2-3 right clicks alone, how is that SKILL? when EVERY skill on your hero won't save you from death. At least in dota you can COUNTER enemy heroes with different builds such as mek viper/pa. From BKB/forcestaff to pipe. PLaying LoL is like playing with your cousin who builds 2 butterfly on sniper with no boots. Or with a carry void with 0 magic immunity or HP items against a lina, zues, lion, lich, warlock lineup.

                          In LoL people just look at you weird if you bust up some blademail equivalent "thornmail" or try to tank up like treant/Cho'Gath with Warmog's Armor. Mainly cuz the enemy team will do like 10-20k DPS late game.

                                  @gangam parkl - I was actually told that warmogs armor became an entire meta for a season until it was nerfed. As for the summoner abilities, they have huge cooldowns. Its not like players can flash over and over. Lastly, your assesment of wards in the game is completely inaccurate. I am told they are trying to nerf it a bit, but in LoL everyone wards constantly and everywhere. The timer is lower because you can have 10 wards on the map at any given time. this is also because of their brush mechanic.

                                  Then again, i have only played about 20 league games since it was release, and I don't know the game that well.

                                  Anyway, as for LoL itself, its a good game for new moba players but its gameplay is incredibly stagnant imho. It look terrible, and hero combat is just a cacophony of bright lights. Dota 2 is superior.

                                    @ Concede it was good the first 2 years of LoL. Back when u can't kill any hero over 4-5k HP so fast. Nowadays that's nothing. Theoritically there could be 50 wards per side. But as you know 2 sets of each will suffice. Since they don't block camps like Dota 2. Brush mechanic is good, I really hope dota took it into consideration but that's about it. Would be nice if there was also a debuff in movement juking in trees and walking in water, flying units immune ofc :D

                                            lol is dumb but there is a different kind of skill involved in it. basically its a farmers game, since you don't lose gold on deaths every cs you get counts. ppl snowball harder in lol from.items than lvls. idk the game is basic with a strange emphasis on farming. the vast majority of players can barely realize that so they resort to pointless standoffs in mid lane. dragon is probably the only cool idea they have its like getting a tower kill each time you do it

                                                Late-game doesn't matter because you'll get 2-shot anyway.

                                                Ability power makes certain heroes ridiculous to face (think Zeus if he could buff his spells).

                                                Can't deviate from meta or you will be at a severe disadvantage (can't even really play a safelane melee carry because he'll just get insta-gibbed by the ranged carry on the other team).

                                                Baron Nashor. Rearrange those letters.

                                                It is said the game is more focused on fighting, but you can't dive people for the first 10 minutes because towers just crush you.

                                                Brush mechanic is dumb.

                                                Unlockable heroes means that you can't really counterpick until you farm ip (or buy them) for months.

                                                Runes and masteries mean that whoever is higher level (profile) will have a slight advantage.

                                                Irritating design.

                                                Summoner spells.

                                                Boring lines/"champion" voices.

                                                Just a few of my issues with it.
