Bs if very good to stomp at low mmr games,he can be good aswell in higher games vs some heroes like Anti-Mage,weaver etc. but usually its not that strong at higher skilled games.
Well I disagree with the typical "low tier hero" argumet. If you watch N0tail streaming, he plays him quite often and stomps his bracket with bs. N0tail has 6 k MMR. Ofc picking of lonley farming heros does not work always, but still in many cases:
- Someone just tped on lane
- In teamfights target on high mobility heros (qop/antimage)
- You can gank with rupture and a stun every target.
- Ulti goes through bkb (nice to snipe chicken btw).
On top he comes with a decent laning stage unlike most agi melee heros.
Clinkz, weaver, slark are all easy countered by tp but still are picked in Comp. BS made some rare apperances, maybe we will see him more often one day. His problem in comp is, that he is wasted on a safe trilane, cause he wont come out with big lategamepotential. Same goes for aggressive trilane, cause he lacks a decent nuke to kill early on. Mid he is countered too hard by too many heros and has low chances. he does not benefit from runes. He can be run against some midders, but not against puck/invoker/batrider etc. So too situational and offers not enough. He can't jungle.
Maybe if more 2-1-2 games are played he can find his place in comp dota. Cloud9 played several 2-1-2 lanes. On 2-1-2 he can be a safelanepick, to snowball and end early. But still a little cheesy tactics.
BUT:
In public ap games all this shit does not apply, cause teamplay is losey. He has good lasthitdamage, nice laning, great chasing potential and can built almost every item for benefit. You can run him with radi, dagon, eblade, blademail, midas, mjolnir, S&Y, Skadi, Manta, BKB, Heart, Hex. Whatever you want and your team needs. Just watch N0tail streaming on twitch.

i thought forcestaff doesn't cancel channelling? or is that when you use on ally only :S
edit: doesnt cancel enemy channels, so force staff is still as crap as before on BS
Forcestaff does not disable tps, so you need a dagon on top :D.
Rupture is a great spell, you just need some exp. when to use it. When the enemy has to run or change his position and cannot tp. So starting a teamfight with rupture is always a bad idea for example, cause the enemy will just stand still and wait.
Also using it on a farmed carry farming on lane wont impress him. He will just stand still and wait for you, so he can beat the shit out of you.
Bloodthirst can make BS really nasty in teamfights, since he can gain his hp back to full in no time. Same goes for his mobility. Once a hero drops on hp, you can switch targets really fast.
The old forcestaff was core on bs, the new one just sucks dick. Still many bs get it on him and run it with success (seen on n0tail last week). If you want to go for a pure Nuke built its still nice:

I prefer the classic Full Boots (i prefer phaseboots) into Radiance, if i can get it under 20 min. If not I go whatever I want. Mostley bkb, cause not getting radi fast means game is going hard.
Waga is playing a lot of bloodseeker too, and usually he wins, people really should think before calling a hero useless

You lost to rat. Can happen. I had once a game with him, where we took down 2 raxes and the last t 3 and still lost, cause their naix was too fat for me to kill and our alchemist was too dumb to use abysall on him. Shit happens.
I like it when I have a gg with a new hero and then think its non stop domination from that point onwards everytime I pick him/her... only to get smacked the very next game. Dreams die very fast =(
Thirst is ridiculous in pubs, especially at low tier. They don't mind chilling at low health. It's just fun running around at the 2 minute mark with 3-4 stacks of thirst just murdering whoever you want, whenever you want, boots, towers, god be damned.

Bloodseeker is fine, I think the real problem is he can't push for shit. How is he going to take a highground rax? Or right he won't. His ult won't matter, his right click isn't strong, and he's too squishy. But if you get a good mid lead and have other tower killers on your team he is fine.

People say bloodseeker's right click isn't strong clearly haven't seen his +3 agility growth per level with 53-59 starting damage.
It's strong if he casts the silence on himself, but it's not as powerful as even other gankers like slark or bounty imo, and certainly not as strong as right click heroes like sniper, drow, clinkz, sven guys who kill towers fast and have abilities to buff right click. Maybe it's the items they build, I never see deso on bs.
True, his steroid on himself take you to well over +400 damage in the late game, and due to said agility growth he hits ridiculously quick, of course his high ground push is a bit limited but once he gets going he can take out towers incredibly quickly. Not many people go desolator on him probably for the same reason you wouldn't really get it on a terrorblade, your Q gives you 120% base damage so stat damage items like sange and yasha/butterfly are usually picked up first, although I have no reason to see why it couldn't be picked up to melt towers.
Also does bloodseeker's silence/damage amp cancel tp? If so that's just one way to get around the 135 gold counter, assuming it's early game

Mid BS <3 forever. Best is if they have invis or jungling units. Early game you can clean up their jungler and really handicap them. I always buy a smoke of deceit so I can sneak in undetected since the river is usually warded. Once I see their jungler on the map and I have lvl 6 its gg!
Mid BS is probably best BS, long range ult means ganking potential and as long as you get a last hit or deny you can sustain yourself well
Phoenix is also countered with 135 gold. Doesn't make him a bad hero though.
Bloodseeker is just horribly underrated by wannabe's, that's all.

Well its true, but you should be probably ganking with someone else with bloodseeker, for example in the waga game people tried to insta-tp against blood but there was always a lion ganking with him

Bloodseeker is best in any solo lane, not just mid. He is also the king of target swapping, you never want to be hitting a thirst giving target unless you badly need a blood bath proc or there are no more targets. His right click damage is just insane with thirst stacks, especially early on. 3 targets below the threshold at level 5? That's 75 damage(lvl 3 thirst), that's a hell of a lot. You're basically right clicking with the power of 2 heroes and no one can escape you(612 movement speed at this point with brown boots, 525 without) without a tp(which they won't escape with if they're a thirst target, you'll just 2-3 shot them before they can leave).
Bloodseeker is seen all over low mmr, but they're always rupture/bloodbath dependent instead of building and playing around thirst. A crystalis/desolator = gg on seeker. 178 + 3 thirst(105) = 283 * 2.2(q self) = 622 right clicks(1089 crits) and not including the 7 armor reduction from deso. TP hardly counters him at that point if you aren't incredibly tanky(which good luck if he's got that kinda farm early on).

yea i got from 3k mmr to 3.5k just solely on BS win. Only thing is don't pick him versus stun heavy lineups. 17-25 minute radiance/treads always a sure win.
