What are you talking about? Your last games are 12 wins / 8 losses. And you never played Ranked MM.

I agree with flop that matchmaking is fine and balanced. Sometimes you just have bad days or spells, like a lot of people who play sports or games sometimes the synergy is not there with your team, sometimes you're just unfit to play at that point in time and I think people take that to mean that the MM is broken.
The only way I see it being a little bit broken is when you get excessively high where it doesn't have enough 6k players to rank you with so it starts matching you up with 4K players to make up the difference so I can understand some of their frustration but other than that most of the games I play solo are with people of the the same skill more or less and are pretty decently balanced. There will always be idiots and game throwers but that is not the matchmakers fault but more a bi-product of systems never being able to factor in the human element so well and it does the best it can.
I don't think these are the key to winning ranked games or even normal games, its just a way to act maturely and play the game at an average level, not bad advice but not the key to winning.
The key to Winning is having amazing decision making, Something impossible unless you have a team and are good at communicating, Imagine if Alliance 5man captains mode stacked, Id be willing to be they win 99% of games
reporting missing heroes has never worked for me outside of these moments where someone on my team gets killed and they say ss?

anyway i'd say matchmaking is fine too even though sometimes i get games like this http://dotabuff.com/matches/632280120 and they weren't even in a stack

It is so bad at this point, it can barely be worse.
Every time i try to go over 4300, game forces me to lose game or two (or 5) so i go back to where i was.
LAST GAME I WAS 7 LEVELS ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE IN GAME AND STILL LOST THANKS TO AFK RUSSIAN

Match making is fine u scrubs cant keep getting to a point and then falling back down to same MMR because thats where u belong *face palms*

Yes, i am very satisfied with current matchmaking system,
it couldn't have been better
lost a few games but overall very satisfied with volvo and dotabuff :)
usually my friend and i are in stack. just two of us!
mostly our opponents are 4k scrubs
sometimes i throw and troll
but,
in 12 recent matches i lost 3 and won 9 games
which is good i would say.
from the stats of the game, 3 of the games that i have lost, 1 of them i threw heavily, for the other one i felt disinterested.
my suggestions are:
1. pick last/ second last
2. pick overpowered(OP) hero; pubstomper, crowd control, low cd, flash farm, medic
3. boost your team morale by saying well played, get ready, requesting a gank
4. when nobody buys ward, do it yourself even though u are a carry
5. try not to miss any creep kills
6. report for miss
7. bring tp ( always helpful )
8. dont be ignorant
9. be friendly ( nobody likes a douche )
10. dont be racist
lastly, people have their bad days. dont complain too much,
just remember to have fun!
