I'd recommend you to watch monkeys-forever's stream. He is playing storm spirit quite often and he is really good too.

Don't be tricked by the 51% winrate, his mmr is close to 6k, if not over. I addition, he is always solo queuing and not tryhard stacking like a considerable amount of the other good pub players.

I'll be watching more of his games surely. Hey, another question. Do you think Storm is one of those "team independant" heroes? (like slark, ember and other snowballers)? I'm in a bracket that I cant rely on my teammates (and I assume that they cant rely on me aswell) to ward spots, gank mid, etc.

People usually (myself too) rushes Orchid asap, but if you look at Dendi, Blitz or even Blunt himself you'll see them often go bkb first.

It all depends on situation.

Also I usually only play Storm when there are heroes that rely on people to stay in front of them/on very good position/very squishy
such as Tinker, Crystal Maiden, Natures Prophet etc.

Also I usually go Safelane with Storm, but that's just the way I prefer to play him.

just get boots + bottle + tp + stick, get rune and push your lane and tp to top or bot and win game
