Those are macros you talk about.

But nobody using legacy has explained how it is better DESPITE being admittedly bugged.

If it isn't bugged, then to each his own, I honestly don't care what someone uses if he is good at it. If it IS bugged, then refusing to change IS being lazy.

it's bugged for rubick i think, unless they patched it recently

the hotkey of the first spell you steal "i.e. torrent is E" for legacy" will permanently bind for that game, so all future spells will be "E" in that particular scenario.

some upsides to legacy? fewer misclicks when comboing, i've seen/heard many ppl bitch about accidentally pushing two keys at once, which happens a lot more often with QWERTY

we also explained how it's better on invoker

instead of having two pre-set keys and needing to remember which spell lands on which key, i.e. meteor changes from Y to T
i find this quite irritating, and as stated, legacy is much easier here to most due to the fact that:

all spells each have their own individual hotkey, and none of them are "too far" away from each other.
you no longer need to remember which spell = which hotkey, as they are now static

i play with legacy and we all know im the best here hands down. so think again qwerdf users ;)

It was posted earlier in this thread that it was specifically bugged for invoker. Someone mentioned he had to remember to invoke slower or he experienced the bug.

As for remembering which spell is which, it, like remembering specific keys for each spell, becomes second nature with practice. My point was and still is, if there is a known bug when playing legacy invoker, then playing legacy invoker is not ideal.

Can anyone confirm there is a bug w/ legacy voker? I wouldn't know bc I didn't play him in dota 1, and I don't use legacy keys here.

And like I said in my last post, if legacy invoker is not bugged, then I agree with most ppl that it's mostly a matter of preference.

I can cause the bug with legacy voker easily. All I need to do is spam spells insanely fast and it would happen every minute.

                Short Offtopic, sry

Was bugged before, i can confirm this, but happened seldomly
now it's fixed (speaking about Rubick)

I remember Mirana was chill in Dota 1, just used wert.

Once I switched to HON, I switched to qwer (acutally wert because it feels more comfortable for me, but thats not the point) and after a short transition period, qwer is handsdown better than legacy. The only problem is the transition for many people isn't worth it for them.

I just played my first invoker game last night, I cant imagine playing that dude with every key on the left side of your keyboard being a hotkey.

i know it sounds silly but using qwert for me makes it very confusing if im pushing the right button, i need to feel a different key layout under my fingers

Legacy or qwer honestly doesnt make a diff. Played legacy on dota 1 for 6yrs and switch to qwer ever since i move to dota2. However for invoker i admit legacy is more superior for the reasons mentioned above, but i am no invoker player anyway. However for heros like meepo i found that qwer is actually easier. Meepo poof is f net is e. and as we know meepo always uses the tab button. And to stretch my fingers to do f tab f tab and so on it is actually slower than if i do w tab w tab. So other than these few heros that require mashing of buttons, i think we cant say qwer is superior, its all a matter of preference and what you like.
