    First, curve your win rate to what the who dota communities win rate by making the average win rate the same.
    Then compare to see the difference between your personal data with the communes data.

    The larger the standard deviation there is between the comparison the more a meta-breaker you are.

    What you guys think about this?

      I think you need to stop using words that you don't know the meaning of. "Standard deviation" makes no sense in this context.

        I think he just meant the difference between the winrates.

        I don't understand how is win rate related to meta-breaking???

          but I was @ 52,50% winrate 1week ago.

          aka I've lost the majority of my games the last week. After I dropped a bit I didn't care about dota anymore and went afk if someone did something stupid.

            No, not win rate. If the average win rate for Luna is 20%, clinks 40%. And your performance is at 50% and 30%(assume same number of games for the two hero for the sake of simplicity). First adjust the average win rate to 40% and 20% so the average win rate is the same for you and the community(30%).

            Then you will be more of a meta-breaker if someone else has a curved win rate of 30% and 30%. And he would be more meta-follower.

            A perfect meta-follower would have exactly the same win rate for each and every hero with the dots community.

              You will get two line of win rate on the graph, win rate vs heroes. One line for you and one line for the community.

              and you can calculate the standard deviation.

              @vandal I think you need reading comprehension before making rude comments.

                People following the metagame or breaking the metagame is not related to winrate. You're not asking about meta-followers or meta-breakers. All you're really asking about is whether someone is above average or below average on each character.

                  @nsg.artemis
                  when you normalize it, you will have the same average win rate vs community win rate. then you can compare how far away you are from the community average(plot all win rate for you and community, some heroes above average some below, and calculate the standard deviation), the further you are, the more meta-breaking player you are.
