It's actually totally worth it. For 24 levels you get 2 extra immortals and some other shit which could be worth more.
Usually any item loses value over time. However, immortals and items that cant be purchased anymore can stay stable or even rise in market value. Probably depending on the interest of the masses on specific virtual goods. If you can invest some items to trade them into points to gain that extra immortal i would say it is worth it depending on how much value u invest for those points.
I would say that its not worth doing until the event is nearing its end, unless you really desire the extra battle points haha
go search compendium afk in the dota channels, find a party which does a 10 man TMM stack. more battle points = more chance to get point drops

Can't get my compendium a very high level. Obviously, as they release player cards and actually start playing the tournament and finish quals, etc, there will be plenty of opportunity to get points. But how do people have level 99 compendiums? Do they just buy like $30 worth of points? Seems kinda pointless....
