You can also animation cancel some times and then you'll crit. You just need good reactiontiming.
Dagger>Jump on>Crit>Cancel animation till you see you'll crit>Let animation go>DOUBLE CRIT WUUT>REPEAT
Well you can never really guarantee when the crit is about to happen, and pros realize this. She's almost never used in big tournaments for a reason: she's based on sheer luck. Even with her PRNG being what it is it still doesn't guarantee that you'll hit a crit on your "X" attack. It's very unreliable despite being PRNG considering it's a 15% chance.
Really? I thought it was auto first and second hit crits when I faced her, regardless of when her last crit was.
But yes, there's potential to "predict" it. But rng is still rng, even if it is "controlled" rng.

its not guaranteed but the chance to crit increases with every non crit attack.
thats how PRD works. it reduces the chance for first hit crits / bashes / whatevers, but makes it more reliable

lol I know. I was just facing a PA as pugna a few matches ago and the first 5 times I ran into her she double crit on her opener instagibbing me every time. Chances of it happening once 2.25%. Chances of it happening 5 times in a row: 0.0000005766% before you even modify for the PRD's lower first hit crit chance >.> I'm a testament to the extreme end of bad luck being possible mang.
The thing is you would probably never noticed when she doesn't crit you 20 times in a row, you just always notice when she crits you big and badly.
Reminds me of axe, the guys win rate actually dropped when they made counter helix pseudo random. I guess it was better to not proc for a while then BAM insta gib someone over a steady rate of procs.

Pa's ult works like this if I'm not mistaken.
Her first hit starts of with a lower % chance on her ult. On next hit, the % gets higher and so on until her ultimate Crits.
The stupid thing about this mechanic is that people can guess when the next crit will happen by counting the attacks without a crit.
(E.g. You hit a neutral 10 without a crit, the next attack will guarantee you one so you'll hold it until the next enemy comes.)
EDIT: The next hit has a higher % chance on a crit, so someone might hold it till then.
