I am really tired of soloq, and i would really love to enjoy the game so i was thinking of finally doing what many others do. Stack. Where can i get myself a party willing to play? Gosu? Dev? Add random ppl on steam? How did you guys got your current party?

And if you're wondering none of my real life friends are playing doto.

I got mine from a mixture, some I met in game, some were friends of friends, some from here...

You can find partymates literally everywhere... The harder part is keeping your stack together. Best is not to have a way too high mmr gap between you, anything below 600 works, if you enjoy playing with each other, it can be bigger, but if youre not having fun outside of dota, no reason for it... And well, if you wanna keep your stack going, play with lower mmr players too, they will be more willing to stack with you than if you only want to play with better players.

Finding someone for dou-queue is easy, even 3party should work.
My usual favourit is to have 2 friends who know each other and always play 2 or 3 queue, depending on whos online, that usually works.

Oooor well, play a 5stack, but that has one big problem for avg doto player... 80% chance that you will be one of those who has to LISTEN to someone else. 5stacks imo has to have a leader calling everything, otherwise you guys will lose a looot against more coordinated 5stacks couse mmr will be around the same, so coordination wins those games. On lower mmrs even a bad strat wins against no start usually, but then all 5 has to do the same shit.

a real life friend, a friend of a real life friend, some guy i added out of politeness when trying to add this girl gamer cos im actually 12, and a dotabuff random

edit: adding randoms that did well with you in pubs is probably the best way to go. if you go with people with very big skill differences then you might not have a very good time. plus i've found many of the people who advertise on forums can be dicks ... guess they couldn't find friends for a reason.

A real life friend + Rands I supported in games / any random amount of people that add to play with M-God. I play with just about anyone.

Edit: I can play with you if you want. Just add me in game. I'm busy with school / work recently but I'll try to make time for a few games.
