They won early vs Na'Vi but didn't have enough experience to close the game. They have definitely impressed so far but they still won't stand a chance in a BO3.
It is like MVP.P on the last season. They are probably the worst team in the tournament, but still doing way better than what people expected.
^More like secret is playing like garbage. What the fuck their support duo, what was puppey thinking.
I flamed the fuck out of shaker on his steam profile... Fucking piece of shi seriously! that guy should just leave and let his team play with a standin useless shit.
edit: the only thing he did all game was his first fissure which was luck if anything! cause he didnt intend to capture him there, just harras him and don't let him a path to get near them, instead of closing his exit...luckily though he got pushed and got stuck in the trees xDDDDD
and he also did some shiet like min 3 bottom tier 1 radiant tower with his enchant stun
^Only thing I can remember is his pro fissure near rosh. Didnt watch from the beginning tho so idk.
Their draft was pretty garbage, strong early game but extremely weak late game with no extra lockdowns apart from a single ES.
Just woke up.. the IAP vs Team Secret game was around 5am here in SEA I guess?
Haven't watched it still but hearing that IAP did a good job from early to mid game is a good enough news for me.
Many people counted them out, like they'll be a laughing stock of some sort but at the very least I hope that DURING THE GAME, viewers saw that "wtf, this IAP is playing good and they can actually upset Team Secret.."
I watched their game against Na'Vi and I thought it was just first game jitters. But hearing the mistakes they did against Team Secret, I think they need to develop their "mid and late game strategy". If there's one thing I noticed from Philippine teams is that, team movement and team decision making during crucial moments of the game are usually based on instinct and whatever they are used to. They need to review their games and analyze how these international teams move. Let me give a quick example on their game against Navi:
- Right before Gyro's surprise BKB clash, IAP actually won a mini-clash and they thought they could transition it to a Tier 1 push. Had they been keeping tabs on XBOCT, they should have just went back and farmed
- XBOCT's surprise BKB clash was something that Navi capitalized on, but that loss was acceptable for IAP, their decision making after that was very very questionable
- Navi transitioned to a bottom Tier 1 push afterwards and made it look that XBOCT was solo overextending. Wraith King was there and Ogre Magi TPd and walked straight to XBOCT to stun him. Only to find out that the whole Navi team was behind. This resulted to multiple deaths from IAP and a Tier 1 push for Navi.
From that point on-wards, Navi played "5-man team" and continued snowballing. Since Naga wasn't online yet, IAP didn't have the chance to turn it around. And yes, Jay-Bimbo's YOLO rune @ bottom was very very careless
who cares if its a pinoy team.... its just another team, theyre just like the koreans MVP.P last time
They did ok, their lack of experience really showed in the game vs Secret when it went down the stretch. Their builds didn't adapt to the evolving environment and they got trashed as a result. Still given that they are at best a tier 2 prop team (not saying that out of disrespect just that they are not top 10) they provided a good show.

Just want to hear from non-SEA people what do you guys think of IAP's performance so far?
They badly lost to Na'Vi, 1st game jitters perhaps
And they played in control against VP
