This would be great! Given that the majority of games are played at High Skill matches and below, I feel like the global stats aren't that relevant to me in Very High Skill.
Would be nice to sort it even more, dividing brackets into smaller group (1k and 3k, as well as 4k and 6k are rather different).
Btw I heard db admins are working on renewing the bracket systems, so these changes might come soon.

It would be very helpful to see what skill and item builds work best in certain skill brackets. It would also be interesting to see what heroes do well at each level of play. Dotabuff seems to track all of this information, so it seems like adding feature could be done. Just a thought
