I wont take Baumi builds as suitable. He never goes with the meta, I mean he itemise his heroes as he wants. Well, thats not a bad thing, he plays the game for fun so you shouldnt take his build seriously.

As well, afaik he never played rank so you cant be sure about his skills. He doesnt have some sort of coaching channel like purge's.
I think he is probably around 4-5k MMR but he only plays unranked, in a stack so thats why he is stomping

Now on topic. The build seems like some sort of support/roamer BB, but why? There are much better heroes at this role. Play BB as he should be played, a core. Go for treads, crimaon guard, SnY, AC, basher, bkb, skadi or whatever you need

arcanes are a good if you want to get mek on Bristle. He simple can't sustain the mana cost of mek without arcanes, and Greaves are a great new build into it.

If you want to build mek on BB without arcanes, you have to have CM or OD on your team to keep your mana up.

I feel that a S&Y or BKB would be a better pick up than heart unless you are stomping hard and get the reaver gold really fast.

Greaves is definetly great on bristle, arcanes gives him the mana sustain he needs to spam his W. Octarine core is also surprisingly good on him, gives him tons of EHP while tanking enemies. Heart is greedy imo, you may swap it with AC. While we're at it while not swap vanguard with vlads and make a full aura bristle, lmao.

not sure about the skill build though, I'd guess it depends on the game but 1-3-1 may be the safer bet because more damage output.

Wait im confused, I thought bristle was more suited to a ganker roamer role, instead of taking over a position 1, hence why the supportish item build.

If I were to go carry bristle, I'd probably imagine treads AC crimson heart

If you wanna delay Greaves till after Heart, then you shouldn't get them at all, there is no point. You should just go basi -> bottle -> Treads -> Mek/Vanguard (depending on the game, but get at least one, you can get both as well) -> BKB/S&Y (again you kinda need both but getting which one first is dependant on the game). At this point BB kinda starts to fall off but if you are far ahead you go classic tank items like Heart, AC, Shiva. Shiva is only good if you have another good DPSer in your team though. You can also get Halberd, Solar Crest or MKB if you need as well.

I dont like Heart. I mean is good but I simply dont like it. Maybe on Centaur or smth. Bristle imho is either a carry/offlaner not a supp. I mean, he can fulfill that role too, but there are others tanky supp that do much better than him at this role. He does insane damage early on with W stacks and his ulti. Why should he be a support when he has a ulti that gives him insane damage and moving speed. I usually build treads>Crimson>SnY/bkb>bkb/SnY>basher>whatever i need, probably skadi/heart

octarine core + vangard = ez gaem

Magic Wand => Arcane Boots =>(disassemble)=> Soul Booster => Octarine Core => any other items.

Octarine is core now. With it you can just spam quills all day and get max warpath all day, you won't go oom and with the cd reduction you can actually keep it at 7. Maybe through a couple goos in there to top it off. So that potential to be constantly +210 dmg maxs octarine a huge item. After that I'd probably just want more attack speed to use the dmg. Prob treads, vanguard, octarine, ac, basher.

How about skadi over heart?

Greaves actually sound fantastic on him considering how resistant he is with bristleback. He's one of the more common heroes to be running around with less than 20% health without dying.

Bristle is one of those heroes that just does so much better with Heart because you tend to get away on very little HP and Heart lets you go back in 10 seconds later.

Isn't it better to be around 50% like huskar and bait enemy team to chase while our team can then catch them off guard?

What's the utility of solar crest over say a skadi , after crimson guard is done?

mana regen and minus armour very early on with medallion - you may even want to get it before completing your vanguard (assuming you even go vanguard). basically pays for itself and solar is just evenmore value. skadi is way more expensive and with much worse buildup.

It's an item that also helps your team do damage. Not good if you are the only carry but definitely worthwhile if you are the offlaner.
