I came to Dotabuff because the Valve DotA2 forums are more "toxic" and have even more newbs. I don't need to join KG to play with non-toxic players (because most of my Steam "friends" I met in pubs aren't "toxic") and I can play with them at any time. However, why are the regular posters here so hostile to KG's recruitment? Being a member of Dotabuff and being a member of KG isn't mutually exclusive.
2) all the other regular troll posters in here will be in the same situation as you and they have enough friends on here to play with.
3) dotabuff users enjoy making fun of OP
4) avg person posting on here would have an MMR of like 4k (worthy of 6k ofcourse). based on OP's statistics, his is like 1500. the same goes for his partner in crime. despite OP assuring us that this group made up of players across all skill levels, there seems to be a great deal of doubt as to whether or not this is true.

"ALL" skill levels may or may not be an overstatement, we obviously don't have any RTZ's in KG. Just to clear the confusion about KG's skill levels, i'd say it probably goes from 750ish to 5500 mmr wise, averaging probably around 3500 for the dota section of the clan (numbers pulled out of ass but i think they are fairly accurate).
Just gonna restate though, that if mmr and high skill is the most important thing in the world to you, then KG is not for you.
I can also understand why people who are actually interested in joining don't go and post here in fear of being trolled or flamed or whatever - they just go straight to www.konvictgaming.com/apply, sign up and post an app.

Great that you have non-toxic friends, not everyone is that lucky!
KG has a good history of absorbing smaller communities or groups of friends into it, so dont let that be a hindrance!
Don't get me wrong, I would even play with you match or two, if I had what it takes to play dota. Internet and PC, it is.
Maybe, one day. At least now I understand why you're on a comunity like that - to find a decent adequate person in <3k must be almost impossible.

KG is NOT a place where you only look for high skill
KG is NOT a place where we exclude lower ranked players who want to play dota
KG IS a place for people who are not toxic, can speak english well, are mature and enjoy playing dota with likeminded people
It's not a joke at all, it's a large scale and very organised community where the focus is to enjoy games and make new friends

Would you show us some screens of the scores of inhouse games? I'm just curious.
Will make sure to take some screenshots of our inhouses next time.
