your rank is based on your division (which depends on e mmr of your games, higher=better), amount of games and winrate. theorically it should depend on KDA, too, but it either does not, or KDA has VERY low impact on it.

it also depends on your number of games so anyone who spam's a hero for thousands of games can get on the leaderboards.
