How accurate are the Hero rankings? Or at least how are they calculated? in General Discussion

I'm asking because it is saying that I am the 64th best Bristleback which is absolute bullshit considering I am just a 4k scrublet. How does the ranking system work? Is it literally just how many games of bristle I play mixing with my higher than usual winrate? (which would be easy enough to achieve at my mmr)

    Thanks in advance!

for high hero ranking you need
      a) hugh amount of games
      b) decent winrate
      c) relatively high mmr

if you lack of one of these points, you can compensate it with other two.

Ah kk that makes sense. Maybe there should probably be more weighting on the high MMR facet of the algorithm!

        TripleSteal-

well, the current system gives a chance to more or less everyone, however it is not representative in terms of showing who's the best player.

also the divisions which are supposed to measure mmr are fucked up and work in a very weird way. we are both d9 even tho im ~1.3k above ur mmr, and i know 7ks who are d6-d7.
not to mention that professional division has a huge and imo totally unfair advantage.

That is why I feel they should include the average MMR of the matches that are being played. This will give more insights into the data.
