              Feedback on my last game please. [Disconnected due to poor network condition just as we were about to rax in at 1:10 :( In fact I experienced delay the whole game and keep walking into chrono :( ]

              I find HOTD to be really weak on her. ROA is also sub-par as the mana regen is too slow for any flash farm.

              Is soul ring good? I think it would be a great farming tool with starfall. The hp regen is very welcomed as well.

              Thoughts on phase versus thread? I find phase to be very helpful for last-hitting due to her very sub-par damage. But I also find the additional HP and IAS from thread to be very valuable since she lack both, especially HP. She will be forced to back from all early game teamfight with 2 nukes without thread.

              Thoughts on skill-build? Maxed starfall really eat into your mana pool a lot. 1 combo of arrow-leap-starfall will wipe out all your mana pool in the early game without drum.

                One thing I like to do with Mirana is build a perseverance (to later become linkens) prior to building any real damage items. It typically will regen enough of your mana in between fights to get at least an arrow/starfall out each engagement

                  @ LaughingStock, and what is your early game item progression up till perseverance?

                  And I presume you went for deso--> Manta afterward?

                  Sorry it been ages since I played her regularly. I have really lost touch with her.

                    As long as u know how to shoot arrows correctly your items don't matter. You can go euls, sheep, mek, dmg items. I guess tank items don't work but that's it

                        Solar Crest is actually pretty decent on offlane Mirana. It ensures you don't die that easily (not that you should be taking a lot of damage, but still, you can't always know where everyone is), and crest/medallion actually have good synergy with your arrow, since that's 5 seconds of reduced armor while the target can't fight back at all.

                          I typically build Aquila -> Treads -> Perseverance -> Yasha -> whatever else.

                          I leave the next item open often because sometimes I want deso, sometimes I want mkb, sometimes I want a more defensive item. I often finish the linkens sphere after the first major item after yasha

                            @ LaughingStock, thoughts on wand? It has been buffed quite substantially. But it will create a slot issue.

                              Wand can be useful, but it just really depends on how the early game is going. For me it often depends on how quickly i can get the void stone for perseverance. If i'm having no struggles getting gold for it after treads/aquila (sometimes even before i finish treads) then i'll skipp wand.

                              If gold is hard to come by, then I'll go wand. Also consider who you're going against (i.e. always get wand when laning against bristleback)

                              But I do typically start with a couple branches just in case

                              Farming Simulator

                                One level in arrow is plenty for early game, max starfall first.
                                Even if you are Robin Hood, starfall is a guaranteed nuke (double in most cases) while arrow can always miss.
                                Aquilla is a must have, Phase or Treads are argueable, depends on game imo. (if you need the health, treads ofc.)
                                Maelstorm if you wanna farm, mid to lategame Manta it shall be.

                                  Arcane boots does wonders for Mirana, Mana for all spells = WAY MORE KILLS + WAY MOR ESCAPES than a bit of agility and as, Arcane > PT > Phase. Go Phase if you really want a ms type build(Phase,Drums,Yasha or Euls phase sold for travels late game)etc etc you get the point but I wouldn't with the 6.85 changes to phase boots.

                                  A fun build to try vs a team of softies - Dagon Level 5 + Arrow + Starfall can wreck
                                  Another fun build if you playing vs noobs is the lunatic hunter Mirana - Mom, S&Y, Maelstrom, Drums,travels + Item of choice

                                  Skills I always go - Arrow 1st, 1 in leap at level 2, then max arrow, then starfall and leap for last. Nothing better than seeing your arrow soar like and eagle half way across the map for a youtube worthy kill :D

                                  Oh And Octarine core is epic also on Mirana, Wish they would make and Aghs upgrade for her and wonder what it would be???

                                    Just had another POTM game. I feel that she is really weak as an off-laner. Or rather, her laning is weak in general compared to other constantly buffed heroes. Her cast point for starfall and arrow is quite long in today dota and that is very fatal. Coupled with her low base damage and high mana cost for starfall, laning is really not for her. My 3 death in that game was all derived from the laning stage.

                                    But she is 1 irritating bitch if you are able to get past that stage. Her ult had been buffed a lot since her early days and that is really her biggest selling point. Besides that, you really live and die with the arrow.

                                      The thing about "living and dying" with the arrow is that you end up hiding in the trees and not going for last hits. True, Mirana's base damage/attack animation is not great, but it is possible do decent in lane. The main problem with playing offlane Mirana is if you're solo vs tri or dual lane the leap cooldown is rather massive, so once you leap you're kinda stuck in a defensive position. I only like playing Mirana offlane if there's another person with me or if I'm focusing on rotations.
