depends, do u want to get flamed for 30 or 40 mins every game u play? Even if u win mid CK vs QoP of pain and ur side lanes lose they will probably still blame u for ur pick..

i probably asking this because i watch the jakiro counter ta mid ,make me think that even jakiro is not a midlane hero,if u good at counter and gameplay you will win

sometimes unorthodox heroes can win mid because they're either a direct counter or the opponent has no idea how to play against it, but usually a meta hero will actually be the better laner.

if you can make it work well, then go for it but you'll naturally find yourself gravitating to more popular mid heroes as your skill increases.

Huskar vs Storm mid

Not in a blue moons chance storms gonna win that lane not unless storms team repeatedly gank husk.

@MLG Finals 2015 there was a match with a venomancer mid against TA. Veno's actually a pretty decent mid anyway, but probably not so against most really good mid heroes, but he's terrific against TA, since the whole hero's based on "please don't screw me with DoTs", and Veno can spam them.

^Veno is shit against ta if not for the snakes, his passive doesn't break TA's Refraction charges and gale slows but doesn't really do anything else. The only power providing veno to shit on TA are the snakes.. Jakiro is by far the most powerful mid counter to TA imo

Yep, it's the snakes, and mid venos go for 1 1 4 1 to get the maximum effectiveness out of them. Jakiro's probably better though.

You must have the mindset that every hero can be mid. This is different then you should play mid with every hero.

I think he means you should know how to 1v1 with every hero and understand match ups. Maybe he is noticing you are either too hesitant or reliant on other team mates.
