We should make a series with 1k discrepancy just to show the 1ks that they aren't as good as 2ks, 2ks that they aren't really 3k players, 3ks that they aren't 4k, etc. It'd probably get a bit muddy in the 5k+ territory I guess, but everything lower should result in pretty tough games for those with 1k less.
@deadweight - I think if am just farmed like a decently skilled fella, which he could have after his t1 went down he could've put a 1v5 showdown. I saw some openings for a comeback, plus this emotional drift guy is a decently skilled fella. Let's do it this weekend for some 1k v 2k and 2k v 3k , Let's trash them left and right emodrift m8. I have a fucked up connection now, but IMA go to a good cyber to kick some 3k trashes anyday. Fix the date and time guys. <3

I'm not going to participate in this because I haven't played enough ranked to know what my true MMR should be, I've only actually started playing it last month (after calibrating at 1.2k last may) and stopped playing as soon as I hit flat 3k. So I think people who should participate in this kind of a thing are those who have very close to 50% general/monthly winrate in their bracket and who've proven to 100% belong in their actual bracket, whether it's somewhere in 1,2,3,4 or 5k domain.

Nope, you'd have to be 6 slotted 30 minutes in in order to accomplish anything in a game like that, and you'd just get rekt by 5ks trying to do that.

Yup, it's important as hell, actually, me just reaching 3k and having 58% monthly ranked winrate is much different than people who have something like 2.4k for the last 200 games with 49% winrate, yet we are both kinda "2k". Somebody being stuck in 3.1k with 49% winrate is probably worse than me too. But that still doesn't make me a legit 3k player either.
You gotta find people who have been playing at a certain MMR for a while, with a near 50% winrate for the argument to work properly (the argument being that MMR matters, and that if you're "stuck" at some MMR you deserve to be there). Also I don't see how/why I am a drama queen, I'm just honest and would like this Xk vs Xk to have consistent results with consistent players who have been in a certain MMR bracket for a while. The rules for 1k vs 5k were a bit lax maybe, but they gotta be more strict if there's only 1k difference.

We should try and find 5 sub 1000 mmr players and put them against 8ks. This stomp wasnt big enough of a stomp

I can guarantee you that 1.6k-1.8k MMR vs 2.3-2.5K mmr would be interesting match.

I'd play for the 3k team, but i usually play on AU servers.. it'd be Ok on US West or something.
