I calibrated at 3.2 and spammed riki to 4.8
Took me about a week or so

Spam op heroes of the meta . (now its invo, od, ench)

Just be effective man :] find those heroes u can consistently play with high game impact :]

1. IDK, I can play almost all heroes

2. 1.5 to 2 years.

3. Started at flat 3k, 5.2k ATM, 5.3 peak. 7k desired.

If you are asking escaping your current skill bracket in your present id/profile, it's hard to move from normal to high or very high. It can be done in ranked matches. Unraked games are hard to get out. Better make new account and start spamming op heros, once you have high kda and hero damage you will be moved to high skill and then to very high. I made new account and spammed jugger and antimage and moved to very high now. 2) i calibrated 18 months ago
3) 1.5k -> 4.3k and going up. i want to climb to 5k

1: i'm not really confident with anything. lately i'm trying out new stuff so i can learn other roles too
2: nearly 3 years
3: started around like 2.6k, right now i'm 4.2.
i'm a pretty slow learner i guess.

got 5k just by rushing divine

1. I play 10-20 heroes confidently, most of which are in the current meta. Occasionally i take some other heroes to fk around in unrranked or to do all-hero challenge.

2. Calibrated at 2.8k in 2014, went down to 2.6k over that year, but now l am up to 3.4k.

3. Climbed to my current level over the last 3 months. Before that I played on and off so wasnt really invested in playing well.

If you want to climb, especially in ranked, learn to play high impact heroes well, whatever roles or heroes you may choose.

You can also watch or read some hero or role guides to increase your understanding of the game. The next step is then to practice.

Fyi, in normal skill, playing heroes like spiritbreaker and witch doctor competently often translate to high game impact because they punish pub teams' general lack of coordination, i.e slow defensive rotations (spiritbreaker) and inability to disengage properly (witch doctor).
