Well newbees can start at 1.5k MMR depending on their "previous experience" selection
I don't mean to be rude here, but 1.5k is a nooby bracket full of the worst people in the game essentially. So don't complain about noobs being on your team unless you're going 30-0 every game and losing because your team goes 1-15.
