Over the course of 1,174 ranked games, Alfred has won 53.58%, which translates to roughly 629 games won. 629 * 25 would equal to 15,725 MMR if he hadn't lost the other 545 games. 15,725 - (545 * 25 = 13,625) = 2.1k mmr climbed since calibration.
Most players calibrate at 1.0-1.5k, so it is safe to assume that this guy is around low-to-mid 3k, which would be accurate seeing that his ranked games are a combination of Normal and High Skill.
What is the new Sherlock Holmes lol. I calibrated when then ranked matchmaking went out and didn't know even how to stack or basic things like positions 1-5. I started with 2450 solo mmr and 2350 party mmr. I'm sitting in 3350 solo mmr and 3560 party mmr. I feel that i can handle with 3800-4000 players but i think that would be my peak. You know, i try to improve as a player overall and i dont spam meta heroes in any patch, mostly playing position 1. And i have a bunch of real life friends that play with me regularly so when we can play as a 5man stack then the game is awesome. The thing that i could concede is that playing solo is rather stressfull because you can't enjoy the game the way it was designed: drafting and creating strats as a TEAM , not as solo individuals trying to cooperate with random guys. I have a lot of party mmr matches because i like to coordinate and making combos. Most people only care about individual skill because its the only way they can show themselves, i dont, i play with friends and we know how each other develop in the game.
I made my way from 1.7 to 2.8 & still climbing.So its possible to climb.
"my teammates drag me down" is true but not always.The issue is true for the enemy team as well so chances are near 50/50 but not accurate.
The only thing that bothers me is in the 3k~3.5k pool there are lots of smurfs,boosted & bought accounts which actually dragging down people who are climbing their main.
That's why I always spam "get gud" on smurf threads.I HATE.
My account had gone from 720-2850 from about August last year, party mmr is 3175 and winning against people who party down at my mmr that are 3.5k solo hasn't been a problem

Also fuck party MMR, Everyone with 5k party has like 8k solo or smth. stupid Winning and losing party ranked is like "do you have a 3 stack of 6k or does the enemy?"
I started off my ranked games about year and so ago, but i stopped playing it cuz i felt i lost too much mmr (3000 --> 2000). I started playing ranked again in the end of November and in January i had 3.2k mmr. Now i have 3.5k mmr i feel i can improve much more throughout the summer. Its defiantly possible to leave lower mmrs and better, you just have to focus on the position/role you play in and keep practicing it's core mechanics. Your teammates help you in winning but they aren't the main cause of you winning, so don't blame them when you lose a game. Hopefully by the end of the summer vacation i will reach my goal of 4.5k mmr.

Minimizing my own fuck-ups and throws and be less controlling of your teammates misplays is the way I got 2k-3.6k. It's a teamgame but not really, to be better the only one you need make better is yourself. Teammates will be better if you get better since the matchmaking work that way.
If one or more core players fked up or a sup want to play carry yea its their fault not mine...Im quite good when my team is full of smart ppl we stomped....but when I pair with secondary school kids most likely is chaos

Why do you keep crying about teammates? Making smurf because you want to play were you belong? This kind of toughts and threads are seen everyday, even by people with 4000 games. " Its not my fault","my teammates drag me down". Kinda silly. I started to play in 2013 and never smurfed. Its hard but you WILL get better if you want. Suppose that 10 noobs are in a game. Chances are 50/50. If you are better than the other 9 chsnces will become 55/45 or 60/40 favouring your team so why do you blame teammates if they have the same chance as you to get matched with noobs? I will aprecciate any answer that those kind of guys can give me.
