there are 2 hidden mmr. 1 for mmr, 1 for unranked. i once read that its possible to have 4000 ranked mmr n 3200 unranked mmr. sorry for me engrish
that's awful. you know how stressful is it to play in 168 ping and do "good/decent" then you realize you're used to that ping already and eventually you're now on the VHS bracket, then you calibrate mmr then PFFF you're only in HS bracket. Im really confuse to this unranked and ranked mmr system. Im expecting to at least start my journey at 4.3K mmr because in my games Im playing against some 3.8ks - 4.8ks, 5ks sometimes and I even have 2 matches against a 6K mmr which I both lost but my KDA and Hero dmg in that game is "good".
i have 8 more games remaining. I won the 2 with good stats. but Im really tilted now. How is this fair? Someone enlighten me. im really really confused
I usually play my smurf, every game on normal mm i play with 5k or 6kish but when i started to calibrate i que with those 3.4kmmr i get stomped with those player bec my team is so bad every lane feed and they start throwing.
relax, just play. when you are calibrated, work your way up, and not just depend on the mmr that is calibrated alone.
even if you get 4.5k and above in the end, if you are not good enough you will still drop to low 4k or 3k.
my 1st two games were HighSkill in ranked , after winning they put me in VHS and i got at the end 3748
yeah, i calmed my t*ts down. maybe the best thing I can do is work my way up, its just that I want a decent headstart and I dont expect things to go this way. And nice story ABC , thanks man, you gave me at least some sign of light. Not that the MMR system is broken, (maybe it is a little) its just confusing af. only lord gaben and osfrog knows. thanks guys! gl on games too

I accidentally played my first ranked @@ (I dont intend too just yet)
Im from SEA but im playing in US west ( because SEA is ugh) with 168 ish ping.i can say that Im doing pretty well for quite some time. I was placed in majority of my games in VHS but recently some of my games are in HS bracket. i have 53% ish win rate too.
Then last night I accidentally played my first mmr calibration game 3.4K average mmr. We won that game. I have decent KDA and hero damage. I have high hopes at that point. This day I played my 2nd calibration game and its still on HS bracket:( Prior to that game I played unranked and its in VHS bracket. Whats going on? im really confused. sorry for my english.
