man this is terribly frustrating. I'm now marked abandoning a game. I would play a game to the very end even if the game itself would stress me out(losing a game so hard, unruly teammates) but nothing really gives me the huge tilt like an unintentional abandon.
My ping is 30 only, but the paket loss is 60%. I cant even last hit properly. I am from Malaysia, i think its happen in Malaysia only because of some problem with internet connection.
If you're playing over wifi then it might be a poor wireless connection or interference
^no. I'm directly connected to our router.
@kiro I'm from the philippines. even though our ISP has quite the horrible rep around here, the connection has been pretty much decent for me at least just until this 1000 ping incident. I think it's a localized computer issue but unfortunately I don't have the know-how to point a finger at the specific problem.
hey dude , i once had this problem which made me abandon dota for a year cz always 1000 ping , and at last i figured it out ... even though you think that you have a good connection and a high download speed , ur currents are not good enough , the download speed and connection given by your internet server is low and not enough for dota 2
me after i year of suffering , my internet server developed and improved which caused a higher download speed and a better internet server
the only solution is that you recharge a higher internet card or bill or whatever wish gives you a constant good connection

and there's nothing wrong with my internet connection either since I'm playing with a friend on my shop. the computer he's on is fine, and I just got my sudden 1000 ping spike 7 minutes in as a safelane ember. after I reconnect I get ping not less than 100. what could be the possible problem on my PC? there aren't any other background programs that could possibly cause this that I know of.
