Oracle is op as fuck.
All heros that need any brain / skill are Potential game losers. Same with Chen ebola and stuff...
dont worry dude, i upvoted you because oracle is a VERY underwhelming hero (arguably very shit) after his nerfs, and isnt that good of a hero anymore. Despite what the idiots on reddit think
He is the most well-designed in the entirity of Dota. All his spells work insanely well together and this makes him really hard to play well. A well-played Oracle is the bane of my existence as the hero has insane damage in the lane and has a lot of ways to save people come mid and late game.
can't you use his damage spell twice before purging? you can also get a euls to purge it.
anyway, pretty much every hero who has a skill set that isn't dps, magic nukes or stuns is underrated.
i wouldn't base anything on what reddit thinks normally but, in this case, they are actually right.

Over the past 12 months you've had the hero on your team 38 times and only won 44% of those games. He's the hero with the 25th worst winrate when on your team out of all the heroes.
You've also played against him 55 times with a 58% win rate (ie only lost 42% of the time he was on the enemy team) - the 26th highest hero you win against.
I'm guessing your comment was intended as satire.
Charm abuser your stats with him are even worse.
Winrate against Oracle is even higher - you won 63% of the 44 games you faced an oracle over the past year.
Your winrate with Oracle on your team is 41% of the 74 games he was on your team. Ie basically the same as his current overall pub winrate.
His early game is amazing, but he falls at 25, minutes, them you can only purge/ult people.

He's gotten a lot of changes in the past few patches that have made him a really awkward hero in general. I don't think he's very good right now either.
Win rate is not really a factor of effectiveness, the same is with Omni, who is pubstomper but is the absolute crap in pro games. Same with spectre, and so on... Some stuff only works in pubs cose people don't play as a team.
Still, imo, oracle is pretty bad hero...

Like every time Oracle is raised there I point out how the hero is shit atm - currently sitting on an average 41% winrate, still only gets up to 43% in 5k+ games.
There is some serious reddit circle jerk about how "OP" Oracle is, despite the fact he is a game loser in pubs and has usually sub 50% winrate in competitive leagues too - eg 38% at Manila, 25% at the recent Dreamleague season 5 etc.
Yet you point out that the hero is a game loser and all these sheeple do is downvote you and say "winrate isn't a measure of effectiveness" (because apparently losing 60% of the games you are played in means that you are a strong hero or something...?).
Like, the hero has no cc apart from a channelled dispellable root, a heaven's halberd spell (which you can apply to only a single enemy carry, which also gives them complete magic damage immunity, or disarms your carry if you want to give them magic immunity). A low cooldown "nuke" which heals more than it damages unless you immediately dispel it afterwards - essentially making the real cooldown the same 6 seconds as his dispel ability, and finally an ultimate ability which just combines shallow grave with aphotic shield.
He has no aoe team fight, no crowd control, no way to push lanes, etc. Situationally good against dark seer and batrider - woah a whole 2 heroes countered.
And when you point this out they say "nah nah he's really good" and downvote you. Rofl-mao.
