I'm currently sitting on 2k mmr SEA based, please take a look at my recent games and advice me on how to improve, i have been winning games but I don't think that I'm capable of going to high-level skill...

    Chief Keef

      Watch miracle replays in youtube.

      戦士 Enma

learn to support..2k mmr no support player
        also its the hardest role

From 1.3 to 4.6 here. All I can say is to play only when you are motivated. From experience, I tend to play heroes within my hero pool when I'm serious and do dumb plays when I'm not serious. I play really serious for like my 1st 3 games for the day then I start to have a 50% win rate. Even if I know this, I still play ranked no matter what because I'm a complete retarded tryhard who wants to get 5k.

the difference in a game of skills isn't all about how well you play , every player has that. But the one that cuts it is how well can you comprehend and assess the whole game entirely . OP i'm close to 4k bracket in SEA too and when i play with my friends that are 2k range , the thing that I see is that everyone one of them play their own ''solo'' game.

I've seen a 5 carry/core team sac 1 position for support cause they know they can't change the draft but they can change and adapt their playing methods .

with the 2k players , no early farm??feed alot?? ''GG!!'' throw game .

but yea , u can't change them but change your mind set of the game.

Fastest way of learning to me is pick a role you want to master it, then watch how other good players play it, dont just watch but analyse why they do certain move etc, for example safelane support double pull instead of single pull, not leeching exp from ur carry, trade hits with offlaner and etc. then when you have bad games go watch the replay, lost games are the best to learn from coz you probably made so many mistakes there, learn to spot ur mistakes see what you can do better etc.

The main thing about dota is just to reduce your mistakes as much as possible and be efficient as much as possible.

Focus on 1 role first is better, after you feel comfortable then try another role. Dont limit yourself to only "carry" or only "support", learning multiple roles help to improve ur overall game. Sound contradicting but what I meant was start focusing to improve in 1 role first then expand from there and dont limit urself.
