It really depends on what heroes you are playing. A mid Zeus for example is expected to have much more hero damage then a mid Puck. A fighting safelaner like Lifestealer is probably going to have more HD then a farming/split push safelaner like AM. Around 10K seems like an okay average estimate though.
Game length obviously also has an impact. Your carry probably wont have time to do much damage in a 20 minute stomp but should have a lot of damage in an hour long game.

As i member of Dotabuff,i want to hear from you guys what is the normal hero damage for Good Mider and Good Carry player,i took look at Manila Major stats and pro players dealing avg 10k damage but i think its pretty much less than they are able,what is your opinion and experience about that?
