Play your best heroes, whether its offlane,support,mid,carry. Just play. Some people might say kda,gpm is what matters, but I saw some smurfs here play support and still get higher mmr than people who play carries. Basically skill is what matters.
Don't worry about MMR, worry about your skills
You can calibrate high MMR only to have -500 the next week because you didn't deserve to be there, just enjoy the game, do your best, keep improving
Believe me the grind for us poor people to get to lvl 20 was absolutely frustrating especially when we saw ppl who started after us get to there before us
Not a problem just a bit frustrating but that was when I though that in ranked ppl are actually smarter than in normal games so I don't care much anymore

You think THAT'S frustrating? I normally don't get to play much for starters. I started in source one. In source one, you could unlock rank at 13 and I got all the way to 8. Then guess what. After I updated to reborn, I HAD TO START FROM LEVEL ONE. Now I'm only level 24 and only have 300 matches. I started in 2014 and I only have ~300 matches and my one of my friends started in patch 6.86 (in about February I think) and he has double the matches I have. The friends I started out with don't wanna play with me anymore as they are way high skilled than me. My dota 2 life.
^Damn bro I feel bad for you. The frnds I started out with still play with me but believe me I don't enjoy those games. They automatically consider me to be Lower skilled than them whereas that is not necessarily true.

I just achieved lvl19 badge with lvl 25 trophy lvl and about to go rank .Can you give me tips on how to calibrate high mmr? What hero to use ? Whats the basis to get high mmr? Pls help me . all my games are at vhs . normal/hs = party game
