Not really sure whats causing that problem. Might be that your line is really slow because theres too many people using the internet in your area and they're throttling your connection.
It could also just be interference with your WiFi signal. Try connect to your router directly via a cable and see if the problem improves.
Yeah it sounds like either the cable is damaged, in which case you need to contact whichever company provides and maintains the cable or your internet speed is being throttled by the ISP, in which case contact them.

hey guys, i have a rlly perturbated internet this last 3 days , i constantly lag in dota & youtube videos are most of the time in 240p its fucking cancer, they changed phone cables in my city recently & im experiencing this problem.
Here what my line looks like in modem settings :
im not that good in this stuff but all i know is my attenuation up should be lower than down ( here its 40 down 50 up ) & i remmeber my old one ( before phone line change ) was 25 15 or smth.
P.S : if i turn off wifi & do nothing my ping is from 89 to 110 but if i open a web page or a youtube video it can skyrocket randomly to 1k ms, i used to be able to run youtube videos for music & play at the same time while still having a steady 70 ms...
P.S.2: for exemple now i just f5 this page to check for answers & ms jumped to almost 300 , rofl what kind of joke is this who can i sue pls this is an aberration
