honestly though I fucked up one time when I was sure I'd be able to suicide as abaddon, and usually I am pretty good at that, but the projectile messed my timing up, I should probably get used to it
Same shit happened to me twice. Im still confused about it actually. Does the self damage occur right after i cast mist coil, or when the projectile hits the target?
Several times someone I'm trying to save has died while the new coil is mid-air. Feels so slow now.
@amoj It damages enemies and then Abaddon. So it wont damage you until the coil reaches the target. (Not sure what happens if the projectile is disjointed or if it can be disjointed)

Wondering about the same thing. Haven't played against an abaddon since 7.00. Wanna try if i can dodge mist coil with blink haha
I used to spam abaddon offlane farming core where I'd get fast greaves and ruin some structures with the team but I haven't played him in long enough that I don't know where he stands right now. For some reason he has 57% winrate atm, jesus. He should be decent at deathballing, aphotic shield is basically OP in the early game.
I think he's really good as a support/tank right now with his talent tree. 15% cooldown reduction and +200 aphotic shield health is OP. Spam aphotic shield to everyone then buy aghs. Your team will never die.
But the new mist coil still sucks

Why did volvo change it??? It feels so... Big. Aesthetically, it sucks. Looks more like a small ghost/soul rather than a chain of mist.
Idk. I feel so disturbed by that particular change since 7.00. Yup idc about monkey king, i care about my mist coil. I want my old mist coil back. :(
