Btw, I'm a offlaner. Likes to play solo and really wants to own and carry the fed up team in the late game. My tip for you is if you cant farm well in the early just play safe and never die. Know when to initiate and disengage. Practice on a small hero pool. Just sharing my new found knowledge and wisdom ppl! Kudos
'... never die'
Wow thanks. Didnt know that, that helps me alot.
Kudos to you.
Been playing recently on Dubai server(better ping than SEA) where the player pool is smaller so I often get matched with mid-high 3k and sometimes even 4k players when playing late at night despite being sub 2k and it really does help out with identifying your weaknesses and stupid mistake. To be fair though, I haven't found 3k players to be that much better than 2k players who I've mostly played with, it's definitely not as much of a step up as I was led to believe a 1k+ jump in MMR would be.
with mmr the improvements are marginal, you can not expect higher mmr to be unhuman, they are just slightly better at everything, but if slight differences accumulate exponentially during the game, if you know what i mean
I feel you! Although I have a larger quantity of lost games in VHS, it definitely feels like the place to be; Most of the time people are communicating far more and team synergy feels at a better level.
This being told, mistakes are being made still, but not nearly as much as in other games in lower skill brackets. Gave up on Ranked and went back to Normal hoping I'd manage to climb back in VHS due to these reasons. :)
vhs (at least the low vhs) is so much easier most of the time. as long as youre not the one making the mistakes, which is quite easy as long as you concentrate i suppose.
Hey I'm not a smurf, this account was made way back the beta era and just didn't used it cause I'm still inlove with dota 1 back then, there's a community of cool guys in my place that still plays dota 1, so i haven't really started playing dota 2 since dec 2012. Btw, thanks for all the replies guis, and what I meant to "not dying" is to minimize the death that you would have; good descision making when and when not to engage and disengage. And also if you're losing too much games just don't blame your team. You always have that 20% part of the team to lead your shitty team to victory. To lead is to show them what to do. And if you're a support and always having some dicky full time carries, just ignore what I'm saying. Rofl
^^good attitude
ive had it both ways, i was just playing on a 3.9k acc and ive had people be friendly and also raging idiots. someone intentionally fed a rapier in ranked, which is the first time ive ever seen that before, lol
still i bet the salt concentration is a lot higher at ~5k, at least by how often i give people lpq rofl

I'm always having a team that knows what to do and are friendly than ppl in lower skill brackets, it helped me to excel on my real skill bracket. Tell me your opinion guys :)
