There is no such a thing as diverse patch. There are always imbalanced and meta heroes and out of meta and weak heroes. Patch 7.xx are no exception either, also talent trees address some weaknesses of every hero.

Depends.. the qualifiers were the most diverse out of any patch yet, but 6.88 had a more diverse pool of "viable" heroes.
