The hero is very strong in pubs currently. See https://www.opendota.com/heroes/public (OpenDota is more accurate because the sample size is a month compared to Dotabuffs 1 week). He has a 57% win rate (2nd highest) with a 17.17% pick rate in 5k. The high pick rate shows that it is an overall strong pick and not something situational.
