I'm more worried about the linkens. Why would you get it on void every game? As for Aquila, it's good cheap stats for pretty much any AGI carry, and can build out of starting items e.g. ring of protection. So I don't see any reason not to go for it.

offlane void or safelane? Safelane void goes for aquila almost 4 out of 5 games. Offlane goes mostly vlads for survival.

Just like why morph and medu almost always get it?

aquila is core for mid agi heroes because it's a natural upgrade of the wb

it's not necessary on void. vlads is enough.

Aquila is 900ish gold
Some heroes need it cuz they have no real way to push the t1 in safelane and need one
Void doesn't have one but that's also not his objective in the lane
Void wants to team fight not make the map safer to farm
If it becomes necessary then get Aquila by 5:30 and use the carry wave to take the tower
If it's not needed it's better to save up that 900 gold for something better

aquila is one of the best 900g items out there for agi carries. If you are building vlads I would skip though.

Aquilla is decent for early team fights and early pushing
