0 cast point ult is the biggest part of him. other 0cast points are usually single target (hex,burrowstrike,dk meele tail) but this one can't be countered if you get jumped on by him... also fissure can manipulate mid lane a lot and this patch revolves around the mid anyways
It's just flavour of the month. Razor at TI4 was similar. Everyone picked him because everyone else was picking him.
yeah because hes a fucking baller hero
he wins lane and smashes teamfights, can get pickoffs easy as fuck and farms ok with a mana item
he farms fast, lanes great, ganks well, teamfights well
he doesnt do anything badly
he has good single target and good aoe
he has physical dmg and magical dmg
he is tanky, he becomes mobile with his items
he disables
like what doesnt earthshaker do?
fight without an item but thats fine because a fast blink is very easy to achieve and fissure alone is good contribution before that
