Lion is a great fight turner with his disables he can gank early and secure kills and he is also dummy proof and allow u to secure kills with his ult(i don't recommend to use this for ks but if u can secure the kill it is really good and will give u a lot of gold as well)
Lich would be good, free armor, slow for the enemies and bouncing nuke, also you could not share that much xp on your safe lane carry since you could just get exp by sacrificing creeps.
IO obviously.
Tether will heal teammate and increase attack speed/resistance when you activate 3rd skill.
Spirit can harass enemy and provide vision on hit even if the hero is invisible.
Relocate is the best thing, you can save your teammate quickly, relocate with team to gang or relocate with pusher to backdoor.

Why not just pick a roamer? Picking a true support (like a babysitter) is just awful if your carries are braindead. SB good cuz he stronk and fucks people up. SA is also good b/c either team doesn't get dust/sentry and u rape them or they do and waste gold on it b/c usually they won't ward every lane. Then later in game if your carries are still being retards then you can sorta transition into a carry.
Lone Druid is a pretty brain dead hero.
Farm -> root -> kill -> farm -> take buildings -> kill -> -> take rosh -> run mid -> battlecry -> kill ancient -> win.

Ogre is the best, you don't have to do anything - just play like Solo with boots for 50 minutes, buy all the wards and buff your 4 carry teammates.
P.s. Pls don't do tranquils unless you going to buy soul ring, don't buy any items >2k gold unless you are in late game (especially scepter), and never skip magic stick because its super good. Also you can buy wind lace because he really needs ms, and upgrade it to eul's later (LATER, NOT ASAP!!).

Ok, heres the thing about my games lately. Im paired up with guys leveling 4-15 20, while the other teams are stacked up with level 48 and 30s.. even if i play carry, i cant pick anything like am or pa, coz the enemy team will just zone me out picking on my team mates or hunt me down. I cant pick pure support coz my team mates do not have the sensibility to stay safe or farm to late game. That means whenever i felt theres a gank going to happen, i have to teleport in and nuke the entire enemy team.
Why not ping them? I did that for a couple of games. It takes them 30 minutes of pinging to prove them i was right to ping them to pull back. But by then they would have fed 8 times and its too late. Why not safe them? Is it possible with no enemy showed up on the map(i warded) and hes taking 2nd tier tower solo?
Why cant they carry? Youve ever seen an underfarmed auto attacking sven running around the map trying to chase and kill a fully farmed antimage without the sensibility to jungle while i already warded our jungle?
And obviously all of them asked me for wards when they die coz their ganks failed. And why are the wards eventually not there? The enemy dewarded coz they got ganked which failed 2 minutes ago.
I could bitch about this to you non stop, but id rather get suggestions on which heroes can be used about pos 3-4. Just enough aoe impact to be used as a semi carry, but not too greedy so i can still roam and ward, coz i know for sure nobody is going to ward.
And spare me about me being a noob and insulting me to be tied with lower level people. I think this is fixed by valve, you have 50% chance of being paired with people around your levels, and 50% chance that you have to lead the team.
As for the suggestions,
I used lich, he works pretty good. But hes sort of irrelevant on late game. But i will try him again on this patch thx for reminding.
Lion, its kind of hard coz the impact only works for single enemies. The hardest part is when my team mates are focusing for kill while leaving me behind to be picked off by am or pa.
Sb is pretty good too, but i have problems if my carries failed. Coz he lacks aoe nuke. I have 60%+ win rate with him.
I used to use omniknight, but hes situational at best. And playing with solo team against better players, you get picked off a lot coz your friends never protect running off for kills while the enemy targets me when i have a big impact in the game.
Im playing turbo lately to adjust using these heroes.
So basically, you need a support hero who does not farm much, fulfill the warding role for say 10-20 mins and then simply jump at the enemies, press R for carrying the world? Sounds bad for game developers. Luna is not a support at all and you seriously need items for being strong. Supporting ES is a joke as he usually plays role 4 and let all the supporting tasks to the hand of another role 5 - hero. Pub games SK is offlaners in most cases, he needs levels. I know that usually you have to play games in which all 10 heroes are carriers, so you just think that buying cour and a couple of wards makes you a support. No, no, what you're looking for is a AOE nuker, that's all! You still farm a lot and keep up with items. You really should try asking again with another key word.
any brain dead + tanky + high wr hero in low mmr. wraith king is a pretty idiot proof. dusa, omni. maybe ursa
Here's my top heroes as a support player.
Lion - One of the best supports, Can pick almost at any lineup, Can babysit good. Only needs dagger to be viable.
Jakiro - Good Harasser, Good pusher, Strong AoE Magical damage, Mediocre Disable. Doesnt need items to be viable.
Shadow Shaman - Same as lion with great disables, just focuses more on pushing rather than burst initiation.
Dazzle - He's more of a like, Keeping your cores safe until they can get big and carry the game. Good harasser with his 1st skill. Doesnt need items to be viable.
If you want to support but carry the game.
Silencer - Good harasser, Bad gankerl. Can transition into a carry in late game.
Mirana - Bad support, Good Ganker. Can transition into a carry late game.
Windrunner - its between bad and good support only if you can hit your Shackleshot and Powershot. Can transition into a carry late game.
Vengeful Spirit - Good Support, Good ganker. Good carry potential. I recommend this
look guys. all tanky and simple heroes.
the only supports u see are CM, lich, and venge. and omni sorta. but look for the high pickrate heroes as well.
Pudge imo. You dont babysit so much as force the supports to go to another lane. Carry a TP at all times. If the enemy is off the map and you sense a gank coming in a lane (this sense will grow the more you play I am still learning too) TP to that lane. If nobody else TPs you might have to just throw a save hook for your team mate and break even. But if it is early enough and you can snag someone without their team diving and killing you hook an enemy under a tower.
Lich aa warlock are free lane wins if u trust ur carry to win later on

These heroes are absolutely fool proof
Almost impossible to fuck up just use ur spells ...
U can fuck up by forgetting to cast spells but if u do that u r beyond saving
Sk and venge aren't as fool proof but have way higher impact and u can actually carry ur team with these guys
Play a "carry out of position" support. Luna was a nice a crazy idea, I like that. If you can handle it, try support Razor. He's got your requirements of heavy AoE nuke and good mobility.
On the more serious side, how about Necro? Everyone seems to have forgotten him since 7.07 dropped and nerfed him, but he's still a pretty decent hero. And people are always barking anyways, telling me Necro is a support, so why not?

Hi guys,
Ive been playing support to increase my knowledge on this game. But things went to shit lately with patch 7.07. iv been paired with people who cant carry but still dont want to support.
Now heres the thing, i need a hero that would help me to babysit other people. That means. I can teleport in and just turn the tide of ganks. I found luna is pretty good at this due to her aoe ulti that disrupts entire team even when my allies fumbles.
Any other hero do you have in mind? Other than luna, sand king and earth shaker?
