I used to only pick chen to troll my teammates by sending them to fountain cuz they stole my lane.

Play as pos 4 chen? I think pos 5 chen wouldnt work out in sub 6k mmr games, definitely needs his hotd/drums early to push faster, U wouldnt want the game to go to late game.

Ask your teammates to pick strong laners/pushers to synergize with u early.

Set 2 ctrl groups. 1 ctrl group for units with only actives while the other ctrl group for units with offensive aura.

I think rushing medalion greatly boosts your ganking potential, I get oov early to help set up kills in the offlane at level 1.

Stand at offlane tower at min 00:00, spam send back on creeps, type "lul creep equilbrium". no need to thank me fam.

^^^ This above is super true.

So I've played quite a few games lately as Chen, and here's what I've found to work best with the hero. Remember, by no means am I a pro or even super good with the hero, but this is what I've found.

            1. Try to be as efficient with your time as possible, and only jungle when you can't do anything else on the map, or need to make sure a camp gets cleared so you can get a better creep.

            2. Remember to use your send back as often as possible. I know I don't use it enough, and after playing against a much better Chen, I can safely say that someone getting sent back right as you are about to kill them every time is super annoying, and really strong.

            3. Itemization is super important, because without buying the right items, the enemies may be able to kill all of your creeps super fast, leaving you pretty vulnerable.

            4. Grab a few catapults if you can during a push.

            5. Make sure that you get your team to push with you early. Even though Chen is much better now than he was before late game, most of his strength lies in early game ganking, harassing, and pushing.

            6. Remember that you don't necessarily need to get kills to have good impact. Even just hitting the cores and supports to burn their regen helps the rest of your lanes so much.

That's all I've got for you, gl.

Also separate your ctrl group for catapults

^i just tab between units, randomly go AFK in the middle of a fight, and die
But because it's so brainless to win everyone's lanes in the first 5 minutes I let my team carry me for the rest of the game.
