Out of my last 3 solo ranked matches, in 1 i didn't hear a single word in english. EU
But games like that have indeed been really rare lately.

Maybe things aren't the same in EU since there is like 15 or so different languages spoken in the same space as like 1 1/2 US States.

I was thinking to myself today that I have a lot fewer people on my team that don't speak the same language, which is really odd for NA servers. Then I did some research.
I have been playing with a lot of SA players lately, but they are always on the other team. I think what valve has done is make it so that the language preferences actually dictate who you get queued with on your team. Everyone on my team has always spoken English for the last like 3 or 4 months, and if someone on the other team is speaking a different language, everyone else on their team is too.
If this is the case, and it isn't just a coincidence, thank fucking God.
