On both EU servers most common denominator are Russians, and Russians dont speak anything except Russian so they are evenly distributet between EU west and EU east, (last language lock update did nothing to counter this issue and glue them to notorious Russian server where even Russians dont want to play on, ironic isnt it?) you can freely assume that 50% of dota current playerbase are Russians since bunch of players from EU west bailed to play other games long time ago. Dota mainly stayed relevant in 3rd world countries since its f2p.
Tldr: You wont notice any diference
I am playing just EUW and EUE. Every game enemy team is full of russians since i got Eng language preference.
I feel like eu west is less cancerous and has less one sided games.
