one thing you need to understand, there is no such thing like competitive games for people who are only there to mess around and accounts from your mmr range get sold for more money than lets say 3-4k accounts which are the lowest selling price in the pack if I recall right

if you want to win games you need to focus on your play style and master the heroes you are willing to play, and for that you will have to understand what is good against certain heroes and which heroes counter each heroes
dont get me wrong, you dont have to memorize anything, but to get some basic understandment you will have to know how a certain role thinks if nothing else

with time you will of course become better and you will notice some patterns and thus make less mistakes and win more games if you are in to seriously compete and not just messing around like the people you mentioned

also, you have to understand that climing in mmr doesnt mean you are getting better per se, you will notice this in time

if you want something you can put in your todo list I would advice you to win with every hero at least twice why not once you might ask, the reason is to not get a lucky win

this will take you about 400 games on average, just to make it clear, and will probably get you a few reports so I would advice you to see some good players play(tutorials literally all over youtube) that hero and try to see when to pick it, dont just lock it first pick since a lot of heroes can be easily counter picked and shat on(meepo for example or am)

If you get "smurfs" who feed when they don't get mid they are not smurfs, they're just shit players who are pretending to be "5k" or whatever. My advice is to be flexible and stand your ground to get the lane you want, but if it is clear that someone is going to pick mid regardless, let them pick mid. On my smurf in ancient I very often get someone who will not roll, not show mid, and if you don't agree with his pick will either first pick shadow fiend (so you can't argue with him) or will pick shadow fiend anyways AFTER you pick your mid. So you need to be flexible and play different positions to adapt with that. If 2 people are toxic you need to give them the hard news : mute eachother or f*** off and stop playing. Because if 2 people are arguing they are tilting the entire team and even if they play well they are bringing others down. There are games you simply cannot win, at all, and in those cases you personally need to come to terms with it. Get some mechanical practice, and maybe the other team will throw on high ground. But you need to see that the game is almost always going to be a loss and you need to move on, because if you tilt and then you re-queue, you will continue the cycle. You will lose another game, and this time, it will be your fault and not your team's.

Yeah I do mute maniac players the moment I see them arguing . But I can’t solo win games when people r feeding other lanes and people for some reason fights non stop. Btw I have decided to take a break from dota for some time to restore everything.
Can u guys do me a favor and check one of my matches and see what is going wrong into my games and how can I improve specifically. I will be so happy if someone help me with that. Thanks once again 👍
