What do you think about Dota's RNG? Too heavy? Just right? Should be removed? How?

How many ganks have you escaped because Troll didn't bash? How many fights have you won as PA just because of that triple crit? How many times have you died because of that extra cask bounce or omnislash in your face even when you are in the middle of a creep wave? Did you deserve all of this or just got lucky?

Honestly I don't like RNG in Dota, my friends say it's fine, I think it's just a way to make the game easier, making up for the lack of skill of the player. I am fine with neutral spawns and runes, but the RNG reliant heroes are just a bad joke to me

Pray for crits, hope to miss, pray for bashes and for that last bounce...at the end you are not getting any better at the game

I just want uphill miss gone

Totentanz to The King: M ...

Its just part of the game at this point. It very rarely decides the game, just heavily influences it

Good point, tho it makes the game what it is..

            Its fine

You forgot to mention the RNG of attack damage and how it's a range... but they've removed RNG for modified attacks, such as bash or crit, and they are now PRNG, you can now prime hits to be bashes and crits. 10% bash on Troll: you've gone 8 hits without a bash. Go for a gank, and your are all but guaranteed to hit a bash within your first 2 attacks. That's generally how PRNG works: your true chance to bash/crit first time is lower than what is on the tooltip. But after every non-proc, the chance is added unto itself, until it averages out to what is written on the tooltip. It basically guarantees that you can't go x number of hits without a proc.
"Praying" for those crits or for those bashes means you aren't making the proper manipulations to avoid the circumstances that would require RNG to be on your side. There's a skill element in this as well, one that I think isn't exploited enough.
