with storm your mana equals your HP. which means, if you're out of mana you might as well be dead. hearth is still fine though as a sixth slot item, but you are still better off with octarine or linkens as they give you manaregen
i try to make up for it with lots of bloodstone charges but if i die i lose like 4 charges and if i kill someone only gain 1 its pretty bad but i mostly have 50+ mana regen all games with storm wich is pretty good
I'd honestly prefer Octarine over Heart. Not that I would get either of those items, or play Storm, or even play mid really... you know what, just build whatever you want on Storm.
you want the heart as a defensive item to make it out alive... so what are you afraid about on the enemy team? is it disruptor? buy a bkb. is it lc? buy linkens. is it invoker? buy bkb. is it doom? buy linkens... stupid item on a hero that has no buisnes in being in the frontline...
at my skill level you can get an ursa with 1-15 that is not even being counterd he is just so bad, how can you suck with ursa hes the most noob friendly hero an 7 year old could play him fuck me and he gets that score thats bassicaly why i suck, i suck cuz my team mates suck
Storm is noob destroyer and heart is bad and octarine is rly bad better buy shiva and linken if u want to be tanky
pretty much the only time you buy heart on a non strength hero is when you want the regen to just chip away at a high ground tower or just need a stupid amount of hp for whatever reason. Storm would rather have a stupid amount of mana than health, but if you really want more health linkens or skadi are better choices.
storms like one of the best escape heroes if not the best. why would you need a heart? he gets decent health regen from bloodstone and linkens anyway. instead of wasting that slot you could get aghs and thats really useful for teamfights.
2k get heart on every hero.
the solution to the problem "im dying in teamfights" is only "buy heart"
force staff, glimmer, solar crest, armour items, let someone else initiate etc are not known to them. theres only raw damage and health.
thats why everyone buys deadalus or crit items and heart

Nah man, the proper way to build Storm is by starting with a casual perseverance, then rushing straight for an Aghs, then go phase boots and shadow blade. then afterwards, yes, you should get that heart of tarrasque. Don't forget to end with aeon disk.
There needs to be an item like heart but for INT and MAna regen. That would be sic

Extremely good item on storm spirit. Ultra underrated, you're definitely underranked for your knowledge.

so i suck at the game im crusader but recently i have been playing storm spirit and mostly i buy hearth of tarasque on him and that gets me alive out of team fights so many times but i want to know what better players think about it and my build generally.
